Sync.

Already keep a reading position on KOReader or Kobo?

Kios speaks both KOReader Sync and Kobo Sync, so your place follows you between Kios and the e-reader on your nightstand.

Questions.

Good to know before you board.

What is Kios?
Kios is a native iOS reader for the EPUBs you already own. No store, no feed, no recommendations — just a calm place to keep, read and finish your own books, with type and themes you control.
How do I join the beta?
Kios is currently invite-free on Apple TestFlight. Open the TestFlight link, install Apple's TestFlight app if you don't have it, and you'll get every new build automatically.
Which formats does it read?
Kios reads EPUB. Import your books straight from Files, iCloud Drive or any share sheet — they live in your library on your device.
Can it sync with my e-reader?
Yes. Kios supports both KOReader Sync and Kobo Sync, so your reading position stays in step between Kios and your e-reader.
Where are my books and data stored?
On your iPhone. Your library, highlights and statistics stay on the device — nothing is uploaded unless you choose to turn on sync. More detail in our privacy policy.
Does it cost anything?
Kios is free while it's in beta, with no ads and no tracking. Pricing after launch hasn't been decided yet — beta readers will hear first.
